Of the 10 other new-carrier tools we compared (their public sites, checked Oct 20, 2026), none lists all three: applicants from the day they apply, an insurance-on-file flag on every row, and owner phone and email. CarrierDaily has all three, every business day, in every state, for $79/month. See the comparison and sources.
Based on CarrierDaily's FMCSA data, Jul 17 to Oct 20: n=24,686 new applications and grants, of which 16,737 were grants and 5,977 had no liability insurance filing on file.

Questions
How quickly do new authorities show up?
The same business day FMCSA publishes them: new applications (filed, then published to the FMCSA Register) and grants, in every state.
Which carriers are included?
New FMCSA operating-authority applicants and grants, one row per docket per day, with state, authority type, fleet size where filed, and whether liability insurance is on file. Carriers that appear to be individuals have their name and street address removed.
Can I filter to my states and carrier types?
Yes. Filter by state, stage (applicant or granted), insurance on file, authority type and fleet size in the workspace and the API; the daily CSV carries every column.
Do you know what equipment a carrier is buying?
No. Rows show the fleet size and cargo FMCSA has on file, and the authority date; buying plans aren't in public data.
Free daily list
Method: a row is a new FMCSA authority application or grant on a feed day, deduplicated by docket. "No insurance on file" means no BIPD filing appears in FMCSA data that day. Paid plans include phone and email from FMCSA filings where available, and officer names for registered companies. Individual applicants' rows never include a name or street address; paid plans may include the phone and email they filed with FMCSA. This screening is automated and may not catch every case; ask us at /removal and we'll remove any record or just its contact details.
