How monitoring works
- Add carriers to your watchlist from any Trust Receipt or upload your roster as a CSV.
- Every morning (Mountain Time) we compare each watched carrier's FMCSA records with the day before.
- You get one email, webhook or Slack message when a watched carrier changes phone, email, address or name, drops insurance, is revoked, or links to a revoked DOT record.
Questions
What does the carrier monitoring show?
Operating authority type and status, how long ago the authority was granted or reinstated, liability insurance on file, out-of-service rates from roadside inspections, how many other DOT records share the carrier's phone, address, email or officer names, and every contact or name change we have recorded, each with its FMCSA source and date.
Where does the data come from?
Official public records published by the U.S. Department of Transportation (FMCSA): the Licensing & Insurance carrier and insurance history files, the Company Census and the SMS inspection and crash files, compared daily.
Is this a background check or credit report?
No. CarrierDaily provides factual public-record change monitoring and is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. Nothing here is a judgment about a company or a person; every line is a verifiable public record.
Is it free?
Lookups on this page are free and need no account. The full change history, linked DOT records and daily alerts for a watched roster come with a 7-day card-free trial.
