Contact changes after authority approval
Why a phone, email or address change in the first 90 days is worth a call.
What the public record shows
- Carrier identity misuse often starts with a changed phone or email on a legitimate authority; FMCSA Census updates record the new values with dates.
- CarrierDaily compares each carrier's Census contact fields daily and keeps the change with the number of days since the last grant or reinstatement (identifier values are stored as one-way hashes only).
- Call the carrier back on a number from an independent source before sending a rate confirmation when a change is recent.

Questions
Does a change mean something is wrong?
