What is a pending insurance cancellation
A cancellation notice on file whose effective date has not arrived.
What the public record shows
- Between the BMC-35 filing and its effective date (30 days later) the carrier is still covered but on notice; a replacement filing can cancel the pending cancellation.
- CarrierDaily lists cancellations filed in the last 30 days on every state and city hub and flags them on the receipt until a newer filing appears.
